FUTURE SITE KINSMEN PLACE
The Pas Kinsmen have made a major commitment to a project that is very much in demand for The Pas area. The Kinsmen have committed $75,000.00 toward the building of The Kinsmen Work Place. The Kinsmen are the major sponsor for this project. The building will be called Kinsmen Place, this is a building that will host The Thrift Shop and a work place for adults with intellectual disabilities, the adults day program will allow the adults to go to work and learn valued Life Skills. The location will be along PTH 10 across from Mc Donald's in the vacant lot provided by the Town of The Pas at a cost of $1.00, the value of this lot is $76,000.00. The building of this site will begin in the spring of 2007, this building will allow for expansion of other programs.
